The Gospel of Love
and
Inner Peace
(2016)
Introduction
Have you ever wondered how we can change the world? Have you ever wondered why revolutions never work and why we keep on living with the same essential problems in the world? Are you tired of the same old routine day by day, week by week, year by year? Do you long to finally break free from your ever-lasting anxiety and stress? Do you wish you could change your life in a way that would give you greater vitality, more meaning in your personal life, and more understanding of the world that we live in?
This small book is about bringing peace into your life and into the world through the idea of unconditional love. I believe that this idea alone is capable of changing your life and the world in the process. This is the only revolution that will ever work, that will actually produce the sustainable change we want to see in the world. In this book you will learn how to view the world from the perspective of unconditional love, which is the unifying force in the universe, the glue that holds everything together, and the energy which sustains everything around you. This is the presence of God on earth. I ask you to be courageous while reading. Don’t be afraid to journey into unknown territory. There will be a lot of it. Remain true to your deepest voice of intuition that will guide you through this book.
The Kingdom of God on earth
What do we really want as a species? What are we trying to achieve? Of course, initially we want to see an end to violence and an end to poverty. These seem to be pretty basic things that nobody wants to see. But, in addition, we want to be able to wake up and not dread what we are doing for a living. We want to wake up and have the daily opportunity to love and feel loved within a community of people that care for each other, who are interconnected with deep friendship, spousal, and family relationships. We want to wake up and feel like we as individuals are making a contribution to the world, like we are living dignified and productive lives. We want to feel like we are living in a sustainable world where our presence on this planet is not contributing to the suffering of other species nor to the decay of the environment. Christians believe that one day this reality will come about and they call it “bringing the Kingdom of God to earth”. Most of us have heard of the “Lord’s prayer” and in it are the words “thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”. But, whether you are Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, Jewish, Atheist, or just another common ordinary human being, most of us would love to see these changes become a reality here on earth. Some of you don’t believe that this is possible and that the world will continue on its course as it has been doing throughout its history. Most Christians believe that this will come about, but only through the arrival of the Messiah, the second coming of Jesus Christ, who is believed will come to establish order to his kingdom and bring about justice to his world through the impartment of the final judgment. I am writing to you today to give you a different vision of how we can achieve this reality here on earth. I believe that we must change the world ourselves if we are going to see change in the world. I don’t believe that we will be saved from the consequences that our very own actions have created. We must bring the kingdom to earth by our own volition, through our own will, and through our own actions, and one day we will. This is my story.
I have been seeking spiritual truth for most of my adult life. I grew up as a Latter Day Saint, or Mormon. My mother, a diligent Mormon, would take us to church every Sunday. My father, a Catholic with a great intellect would always talk to us about different economic, political, and religious themes around the dinner table. I grew up in Santiago, Chile and in the state of New Jersey here in the United States. We would constantly be travelling between Chile and the United States where I had the opportunity to attend primary school, middle school, high school, and college in both countries, giving me a unique perspective of these two cultures.
When I was 15 years old my mother passed away, which caused a great void within our household. I’m not sure if this was the triggering event, but ever since those years I have been on a journey to find a solution to the ills of our world. I remember now, incredulously, how back in those early days of my life I would go through my daily tasks of going to college and working, always pondering and always thinking obsessively about this. It was something that I couldn’t let go of. I tried many times to say to myself “enough with this obsession!”, and after a few hours (or minutes) I would be back at it again. So, of course, I had to embrace this calling in my life. Plus, most of the time, I loved it. I was so happy doing what I was doing. It was so challenging, so fun, just to observe the ever changing world and ponder. I remember that I would not let a minute go by, either on the bus or while playing soccer, without theorizing or contemplating about the world and how we can fix it, and at the same time experimenting with different spiritual techniques in the physical world we inhabit. I also spent many hours studying different perspectives from economists (my college major), politicians, sociologists, psychologists, anthropologists, physicists, religious leaders, and many of the sacred texts out there. I’ve also met hundreds of amazing people in my lifetime from various walks of life. I partied with gangsters, played football, basketball, and soccer with the jocks, smoked with the hippies, traded the markets with stockbrokers, counseled domestic violence victims, worked with our “at risk” youth, and dived into the realities of many different spiritual groups, from Kundalini meditation, to Baha’i religion, to Vipassana meditation, to following various different Hindu and Buddhist gurus, to various different Christian groups (LDS and Catholic of course, along with Jehovah’s Witness, Born Again, Quaker, Mennonite). The only way I knew how to develop an understanding of people, of why they thought the way they thought and acted the way they acted, was to walk in their shoes and become who they were for a while, which is what I did.
I remember even before I graduated from high school, and of course being a good Christian, I always knew that there was one answer to the world’s problems, and that answer was always love. This was always very clear to me. But, I also knew that freedom played a very important role in this complex equation. I knew that understanding these two principles would be key to arriving at a potential solution. As I played around intellectually and emotionally with these two principles, I began to develop a theory of human spiritual development. I didn’t know what it would look like initially, but it seemed that our human species has developed much like one human being develops in their own individual life. From the time we are born, subconscious to many realities, dependent upon our parents, we slowly move into consciousness and knowledge and at the same time become independent from our parents… freedom! Yes, we all want to choose for ourselves, especially kids! We all want to choose and we all want to love and be loved. So, as I pondered and tinkered in history and anthropology textbooks for a while, I noticed an underlying historical pattern develop. I saw that throughout history, as technology increased, from hunter-gatherers to agriculture, and then to industry, the number of people per household diminished. And the reason for this is the same reason why your child wants to feed himself and not be spoon fed, even though he doesn’t know how to do so yet. People want to choose for themselves and act on their own volition. When we made the switch from hunter-gathers to agriculture, our large tribal units became smaller family units. And when we made the switch from agriculture to industry, our family units became smaller and smaller. Now, we live in households with very few people compared to older generations. The reason is that we rather live in smaller groups with more choice than in larger groups with less choice.
As technology increased and the number of people per household declined, simultaneously, the size of our political units got bigger and bigger, controlling more aspects of the populations they ruled over. As we moved technologically from hunter-gatherers to agriculture and then to industry, our political units grew from hundreds of small self-governed tribal units, to less numerous but larger political units with a gradual ascent in centralizations of power. So, on the one hand, we became less and less dependent upon our household units with more and more individual control. But, on the other hand, we became more and more dependent upon our political units with less and less individual control.
On a household level, we can now choose the lifestyle we want, we can choose the career we want, we can choose the religion we want, all of which used to be determined by our family and the culture we were raised. These were major cultural restraints to growth and development. Our choices were not determined by us, but by our families, by our neighborhoods, and in general terms by the culture we were raised in. We started taking more control of our lives, not depending on others for the decisions we were making on a daily basis. Victims never take responsibility for themselves and always blame others for the situation in which they are in. The victim feels that they have no choice in the matter and therefore liberate themselves from responsibility. When you are in control of a situation you take responsibility of the outcome. When you don’t have control of a situation, you liberate yourself from the responsibility of the outcome and become a victim of the outcome. On a household level, we are making the move from the victim mentality into an empowered mentality, where we are attempting to take more responsibility for who we are as individuals and what our world is becoming.
We have learned that we are not our parents and that despite what they thought and what they became, we are totally different people and have the freedom to think and be whoever we want to be. We have learned that no matter what our cultural upbringing was as a child, we have the freedom to think and believe whatever we want to believe. We have learned that we are not our past, nor are we the product of the circumstances in which we were raised, and that we have the choice to break free from these elements in our lives. This is very empowering and a very necessary step in our development. As a human species, throughout history we have seen ourselves grow in all of these aspects, empowering ourselves, attempting to take control of our own individual lives. And so, on a household level throughout history this is what we have done, producing households that were smaller and smaller in number. We have attempted to take control of our individual lives, breaking free from the decisions of other members of our household, attempting to become masters of our own domain, and ever increasingly, taking responsibility for what has become of our own lives.
On the other hand, this same mentality which brought us apparent empowerment and control also brought with it other consequences, such as great divisions to communities, to families, and to established cultural tradition. The homogeneity in thought, belief systems, and ways of life that existed in cultures of the past is being torn apart, due in part to this expansion in choices and knowledge that is available to the masses today. We are witnessing greater individual isolation with less significant individual relationships than ever before. Most cultural traditions are going through these same changes, where people are choosing to lead different lives than the ones that they were brought up with.
An interesting story that puts this whole trend of historical development into perspective is that in the 60’s, due to the lack of television sets per neighborhood, people used to get together very often to watch different programs together. People needed each other. Now, we all have our own television sets (or smart phones) and can choose to watch whatever we want. Now, we no longer need to be together. Throughout history, as technology has increased, we have steadily lessened the necessity we have of each other on a household level, but this same necessity and dependence has simply been passed up the ladder, from our tribes, to our neighbors, to our communities, and now to our governments and corporations. Now, we no longer hunt and collect food ourselves, and neither do we buy food from our neighbor or community, but with greater and greater frequency we buy it from the global food corporation.
What has happened to us historically on a political level? Our governments and institutions have amassed great levels of control and power, as they have become more and more centralized. Do you have any control over the spending habits of your government? Do you have any control over the daily decisions that your government makes? Do you have any control over the decisions that are made by the corporations that feed us, give us water to drink, give us electricity, and jobs to work in? Do you have any control over the curriculum decisions that are made by the government over how to educate our children? Do you have any control over foreign policy decisions that are made by our government officials? Why do we continue to live with the threat of violence both domestically within our countries and internationally? Why do we continue to see extreme levels of poverty around the world when there are clear signs of abundance in other parts of the world? On a global scale, we are clearly losing control of all of these elements, some of which seem to affect us directly and others indirectly. But, either way, we are clearly becoming victims of all of these external circumstances and thereby not claiming responsibility for any of the outcomes that these actions produce. The production and availability of many of the basic elements that we need on a daily basis such as food, water, energy, shelter, protection, education, and job availability, which were once very much within our control are becoming less and less within our means of control and placed in the hands of governments or large institutions that have taken control of these basic aspects of our lives. In this regard, we have become completely dependent upon decisions that other people make for us, making us victims of external circumstances. So, despite thousands and thousands of years of fighting for our freedom on a household level, what has happened to our freedom? Where has our freedom gone? And more importantly, how can we regain our freedom? How can we regain control of our lives?
This is what the revolution is all about. It is about re-taking control of our world. It is about re-taking control of our lives again. Despite our efforts to take control of our lives on a household level, we have lost control of our world and nobody is taking responsibility for it. It is time to turn the page of history and change our plight. It is time to become a proud people, a strong people, a virtuous people of virtuous deeds and thoughts. Let’s build a world that we can be proud of and leave a world to our children that they can call home with honor and gratitude.
I have presented a brief explanation of the undercurrent of the process of human spiritual development. It is a process which we must embrace, but at the same time, we must take a deep look at ourselves and determine what we can do to improve. With the rapid emergence of technology and information, hundreds of localized cultures are merging into one global culture, whereby the next few generations will choose the direction that this global culture takes, and therefore, now more than ever, it is important for us to look into the mirror and question the road we are on and where it is leading. Just as children grow into teenagers and gain a sense of independence and freedom, they also lack the knowledge and wisdom to make informed decisions and eventually learn from their mistakes. By the same token, humanity for the past thousands of years, has gained a sense of individual freedom and responsibility but without the knowledge to discern with wisdom and clarity. We are definitely living in exciting times.
So, continuing on with my personal story, I wrote a book when I was around 30 years old called the Choice to Love. You can probably guess what the main idea of this book was. But, I still had many deep, unanswered questions. After several years and as I was going through many personal challenges and hardships, I retreated to a small hotel room and began to read the New Testament (once again). During this time period I began to deprive myself of food, fasting for extended periods of time (just out of the sheer pain I was feeling internally), praying, and reading scriptures. Slowly I was beginning to dive deeper and deeper into the spirit world. During this time period, I wrote a book called Jesus of Nazareth and The Kingdom of God, which was a brief reorganization of red letter scriptures of the gospels, arranged by subject. I then continued upon this spiritual journey for a few more weeks going through many supernatural experiences. I felt like I was guided by something that was so powerful that I really was just following orders, taking dictation. I remember this time period in my life full of serendipities, magic, emotion, and mostly just a great level of sensitivity toward everything around me. It seems as if I was in a complete separate reality, even though I was still here. Eventually everything began to get more and more intense and the writings began to get closer and closer to some type of culmination. I spent many nights crying as knowledge and understanding swept into my consciousness and in many occasions through direct experience saw the world closer and closer to its true state. After weeks of writing some of the most amazing teachings I had ever received, I was prompted one morning to write what seemed to be the culmination of every teaching that I had ever learned up to that point in my life. I remember receiving a prompting to start changing the world immediately through this one small promise with God and myself, which was called The New Covenant for the New Era. And it states, “To lay down your life for your beliefs. We will not fight evil with evil. We will not shed blood for blood. We will always strive to remain in the spirit of the almighty God, that of unconditional love for all human beings, for all beings, for all things. With faith may this be done. Amen.” I believe that if we can all make this promise to God and to ourselves, we can change our individual lives as well as the world forever. And, believe it or not, through this promise alone we can take back control of our own lives and of our world. And even if you stop reading this book right now and just follow this promise, you need nothing else. But, if you want a little more explaining, which I hope you do, please continue reading.
So, continuing on with our historical household units and political units, is there a correlation between the diminishing sizes of our households (and the greater control we attempt to exert upon our households), with the expanding sizes of our governments and institutions (and the greater control they exert upon the populations and individuals under them)? I have come to the conclusion that the spirit that brought us to smaller, more controlled household units has been the same spirit that produces larger, more controlling political units. And, therefore, in order to reverse this trend, in other words, in order to see less centralized power from the governing bodies in our societies, we must change the spirit that has brought about smaller household units. So, in order to change the world, we must make changes to the governing spiritual trend of the past few thousand years and the world will change in the process. Make no mistake about it, we are the true agents of change in this world. We are the cause of the current state of the world. The governments, institutions, politicians, and all of our established economic and social systems look the way they look today due to the choices we have made on a household level for the past few thousand years. It is the spirit of our historical culture that has brought about the current state of affairs in the world today. I am not here to cast judgment on our history and on the way cultures and people have developed over the years. I have learned that historical circumstances are rarely understood from the perspective of the present moment in time. Their time served their purpose. Our fallacies in one aspect brought about strengths in others. Our history has been a necessary step in our development as a species. That being said, it is time to change the page to a new era of understanding and knowledge in human history. It is time for the adolescent to take that step into manhood. It is time to reverse the cultural trend of the past few thousand years and begin laying the foundation for the establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth.
Good and Evil
We have been wrongly educated about many religious and spiritual ideas, including the ideas of good and evil and how to react to each of these forces, which has kept us in the dark about how the world works and about how it can be changed. Let’s take a deeper look into this.
Man’s System of Justice
The world has been taught for thousands of years that evil acts must be brought to justice through the “laws of man”. We have set up entire systems of justice with judges, lawyers, politicians, legislative bodies, and a multitude of enforcement agencies which attempt to bring about justice to particular acts of evil. For example, if someone kills another person, then we have been taught that there is an absence of justice. Society demands justice for the victim’s family, for society itself as a whole, and also demands the impartment of justice upon the perpetrator of the act itself. Justice is brought about by means of punishment to the perpetrator, whether this be incarceration, paying a penalty, or even death, which is determined by the laws that have been established by the human justice system. By engaging in this process, we have been taught that justice is served. If there is no punishment for a crime, and let’s say the perpetrator escapes the punishment, then we have been taught to believe that this person is getting away with what they did, that somehow justice has not been served and will only be served until the perpetrator serves their punishment imposed by man’s laws.
In addition, it is clear that the laws of man are only effective if they can be enforced. And the only way to enforce the law is by force, or through violence. If a government doesn’t have the means of violence at their disposal, in other words, the biggest gun in the house, then they can’t enforce the law and thereby won’t have any effect upon the population.
So, we are still living in an archaic type of system where behavior is regulated by fear through violence. We can clearly see huge dysfunctionalities in families which are regulated through the means of fear through violence. On the surface, behavior seems to be regulated very well and there seems to be order and harmony, but as soon as the threat of violence disappears, the behavior becomes unregulated. Whenever we have fear-based regulation programs, as soon as the threat disappears, people return to the old behavior that existed before the established program. So, people never experience self-growth and development, never taking responsibility for their actions, because they are acting based out of fear and not out of their own volition, their own free-will. This type of system inevitably always creates victims.
What would happen if all of a sudden we took away the police force for a few days in the United States, in France, in Chile, in Australia, in China, or in South Africa? There would be looting, stealing, violence, rape, and general chaos. How can this be? Have we not evolved at all as a society, as a human species? The true sign of an evolved society is when people act ethically and responsibly out of their own free-will and not because they are forced to do so by means of the threat of violence. Societies that attempt to sustain order and harmony through fear and violence are never sustainable and eventually collapse, and the cycle of violence continues over and over again. People in these societies never learn responsibility since they are acting out of fear and become victims of their circumstances and begin to take less and less responsibility for their lives and thereby, as a result, the institutions attempt to impose more and more control measures upon the population. The sustainability of this process in these societies is eventually hijacked by the people themselves since they resist acting out of fear and violence.
God’s System of Justice
God is the presence of unconditional love on earth. Therefore, God’s system of justice is a merciful system which can be seen very clearly in nature and in everything around us. There is a mirror type relationship that exists between our exterior world and our interior world. What others do to you and what you do to yourself, you do to others, and what you do to others, you do to yourself. What you do to others, you have already done to yourself internally, and by acting upon this externally you reinforce your internal state of being. This is God’s system of justice. Nobody escapes this natural system of justice. So, according to God’s system of justice, if you do something harmful to someone else, you automatically do yourself the same harm on a spiritual level, reinforcing the harm that others have done to you and you have done to yourself all along. By the same token, if you do good to someone else, you automatically do yourself the same good, reinforcing your internal state being. There is no place on earth where this law doesn’t already reign supreme. This is how God imposes justice at all times and in all places. Therefore we can clearly see how humankind’s current system of justice is a byproduct of how we feel internally about ourselves. We punish others harshly because we have already done the same to ourselves over thousands of years. And by externalizing this punishment on others, through the implementation of our own archaic system of justice on top of God’s system of justice, we are simply creating more suffering upon ourselves and upon others. Humankind doesn’t need to impose its own system of justice on top of God’s system, because God’s justice already exists always and everywhere, because God is a just God and God is always.
The Existence of God – We are all One
We know that God exists due to the simple fact that if we do a good deed to someone, we feel good about it. Why does this happen? Why do we feel good when we do a good deed, even to a complete stranger that we might never see again in our lives? The answer is that we are all interconnected, somehow, someway. We are all one, on a deep subconscious spiritual level. So, when you do good to that stranger, you are somehow interconnected and thereby you are somehow doing good to yourself and thus you feel good. If we didn’t feel this, then we could safely say that God doesn’t exist and that we are just beings that have evolved independently from atoms and don’t really have any ethical nature or spiritual interconnection with anyone or anything else, which would mean that we really don’t have an inherent objective in life. But, we all have an ethical nature and we will all eventually return to this ethical nature in consciousness as we develop, for this is our objective as well as our destiny.
Judgement Upon Others
The mirror effect we see operating within God’s system of justice can also be seen when passing judgment on others. When we pass judgment on other human beings, we are actually just reflecting the judgment that we have already passed upon ourselves. What we don’t like in ourselves, we don’t like in others. When you judge yourself harshly, you judge others harshly. When we are very hard on ourselves, put great amounts of pressure on ourselves, expect perfection of ourselves, and constantly criticize ourselves, then we do the same to others.
Before judging others, try to understand the principle that everyone is doing their best all the time with the circumstances that they have been given in this life. We understand empowerment and how we are not victims of our circumstances, but at the same time we have all been raised in certain circumstances that affect our psychological and emotional states of being in very individualized and unique ways, which affects the decisions that each us make on a daily basis. This doesn’t mean that people can’t escape their circumstances, it just means that everyone is always trying their best with the unique knowledge and tools they have accumulated throughout their lives. Nobody wants to suffer. Everyone is trying to minimize suffering all the time. This is a universal reality that applies to everyone. Two twins that were born in the same neighborhood, with the same parents, with the apparent same circumstances, can result in vastly different lives, which can result in the casting of harsher judgment on one over the other. But, no two people share similar circumstances and no two people share similar life journeys. We are all extremely unique individuals. If you were that other person, then you would be acting and thinking just as that other person is today. Looking at people through this lens will give you a clearer picture as to who they truly are as individuals, and at the same time as to who you truly are as an individual. Just think of yourself and your life journey. Haven’t you always tried your best in your life? You might have gone through hard times where you made mistakes and stumbled, but at the time, you were trying your best with the knowledge you had and the existing circumstances that were present at that particular time. And even, at times, if you know that you are not trying your best, this is yet another attempt to try to make yourself feel better, someway, somehow, which shows us that even if we choose not to try our best, this is in and of itself a conscious attempt to try to achieve some type of objective. So, we are always trying even if we stop trying. And we all look back at certain mistakes that we have committed in our lives and think that if we only knew then what we know now, we might have made different choices at the time. But, this is part of the process of development. So, be kind to others and to yourself. Understand that everyone is in this journey together, trying to figure things out, and doing the best that they can.
The Judgment of God
The judgment of God is right here and right now. It has been said in Christianity, as well as in other faiths, that there will be a day of judgment sometime in the future, where people will be judged for their thoughts and their deeds here on earth. But, God’s judgment is now and always. By God’s design, you are your own judge. We don’t have to wait for God to judge us, we are already judging ourselves minute by minute, thought by thought, through God’s natural system of justice.
Predator/Prey Relationship
As we move deeper and deeper into God’s system of justice, we must take a closer look at the acts of harm that are committed by predators upon innocent victims. Despite there being hundreds of different potential scenarios of predator/prey interactions, I will describe one of the most common to show the intricacies of the justice and mercy of God. When a predator does harm to an innocent prey, for example, to an innocent child, the predator is already in a deep unconscious state and then while committing the act moves into a deeper unconscious state. This natural phenomenon was created by design in order to protect the predator. The predator is doing such a horrible act against the prey, and according to the justice of God is thereby simultaneously doing this act upon itself. God moves the predator into this deeper state of unconsciousness in order to protect the predator from itself and also to render the predator spiritually harmless to others. This is why many people who commit evil deeds are not aware of the harm they are committing upon others and upon themselves. They can’t feel what they are doing, numb to the reality they are creating. This is nature protecting them from others and from themselves. If God were not a merciful God, nor a God of unconditional love, then God would not protect them from their deeds, and people who commit evil deeds would receive the full punishment of their actions. But, the numbing effect that all evil deeds produces on people who commit these acts shows us the mercy upon which God operates. It also shows us the wisdom of this system. Nature understands that if it used the principles of man to try to manipulate human behavior, that is, through fear and violence, punishing the evil deeds, then just as with man’s system of justice, people would not learn and develop because they would begin to act out of fear and not their own volition and free-will. Then, we would be living in man’s world. But, we live in God’s world.
The innocent prey, when harmed, also moves into a deeper unconscious state. Most of us have experienced this when we have been in some type of an accident or in extreme levels of pain, where we have gone into some type of unconscious state for a while, where we don’t feel as much of the physical pain. God offers mercy to both the predator and the prey. God’s mercy is endless and eternal to all beings, both evil and good. For a while, both predator and prey are in this state of unconsciousness both physically and spiritually. Eventually, when time runs its course and both subjects slowly move out of this state of unconsciousness, then both the predator and the prey have decisions to make. When the prey starts to come out of this state of unconsciousness, the prey looks upon the act that was committed and decides whether to forgive the predator, condemn the predator, or simply not face the horrible act again and bury it in their subconscious mind. Similarly, the predator has to make similar decisions.
The nature of evil
In order to continue to understand this story, we must dive deep into the nature of evil. In order to truly understand our world, we must consciously understand the true nature of evil. This is one of the most misunderstood principles and one of the hardest to understand. As we mentioned before, everyone is always doing their best all the time. Everyone is trying to do their best with what they have. As human beings with a divine nature, we all come from this interconnected whole and we are trying to get back to the same place, but in consciousness. We all come from unconsciousness, like a baby, we gain consciousness and eventually, we move back into the subconscious whole. We come from collective love, move into individual consciousness, and the objective is to consciously move back into the collective unconscious whole. So, what evil is attempting to do, is to forcefully move into the unified collective unconsciousness but without the knowledge of how to do so. We see that evil always attempts to expand its ego, obsessed with the will to power and control of the external world. It is in this attempt to expand its power and control in the external world that evil attempts to connect with the unconscious whole. In simpler terms, evil is trying to love without knowing how to do so. And from yet another perspective, evil deeds are not aware of the harm they are causing others because they are either consciously or unconsciously simply trying to relieve their own internal pain without the knowledge of how to do so. If they were truly conscious of the pain that they were causing others and themselves, then they wouldn’t be realizing those acts. Evil deeds are truly in a state of unconsciousness. They are not conscious of what they are doing.
This is a brief intellectual explanation of this phenomenon, but I have experienced first-hand how evil is really in fact attempting to love, attempting to cure themselves, attempting to “return home”, but without the knowledge. And this is why people who perform evil deeds must be loved, just as Jesus said on the Sermon on the Mount. Evil, as a concept, is attempting to achieve the same objective we all want in this life, to love and be loved, but it doesn’t know how to achieve it. And, as I was delving deep into the spiritual world, I discovered that the most evil people are trying to love so much, so hard, with so much effort exerted, that they are in fact very close to God and all they lack is the understanding of what they are doing. Thus, Jesus’ famous saying, “forgive them for they don’t know what they are doing”. And these people who perform the most evil deeds will never submit to condemnation because deep down in some unconscious space in their mind and soul they know that they are indeed trying their hardest, and this is why we must love them because this is the only power that evil will bow down to, the power of unconditional love, and it is through this power of God, of unconditional love, where we will see, with our own eyes, evil transform to good, where we will see pain transform into joy, and misery into redemption, because the evil people will see in you who they truly are and recognize truth and bow down and submit to the everlasting glory of God. And for the first time, they will see all of their evil deeds, all of the misery which they caused on others, and they will weep with pain, but at the same time with joy, for they will intern forgive themselves, for they will also know at that very moment that they didn’t know what they were doing, for if they knew at the time what they now know, they wouldn’t have done what they did. This idea is the only way to our salvation, as individuals and as a species. This is the only way to rid evil from earth. Love conquers all. Love endures all. And when you begin to see and understand in your heart and in your mind that evil can only be rid through the power of unconditional love, then you become reborn into the spirit of God and then you realize the power that is bestowed upon you, for you know that evil can’t sway you any longer, for your spirit will remain intact despite the ways of the world, and you can begin to build the foundation of your own life, as well as move us one step closer to the Kingdom of God on earth. If you can understand with both your mind and your heart the nature of evil, then everything else falls into place.
Let’s take a simple example of a parent who loves their child. The parent will never attempt to harm their child. It would be impossible for them to do so. Why? Because they know their child so well, they know everything that the child has gone through, all of their challenges, all of their struggles, and has seen them grow up as a small beautiful innocent child. Their love is so great for that child that despite anything that the child will eventually do in their lives, they will still have deep love for that being that they know so well. With our own children we can clearly see God’s system of justice in action. We see how the wrong decisions of our children are only hurting themselves and so we cast mercy upon them and our love grows even greater for them when they deviate from the path of God. We see unconditional love already present on earth in a huge way, but only to beings within our inner circle, those that we have grown up with, those that we have shared deep experiences with. So, why is it so hard for us to understand that other people, the stranger that might be doing something horrible, also has a parent who loves them unconditionally, just like you love your own. Why do we love our children more than other people’s children? Why do we love our own more than others? Love is clearly a question of knowledge and the more knowledge you have of that person, the easier they are to love, as a parent loves their child. Our challenge is to expand our consciousness and knowledge to include all human beings, all beings, and all things into our circle of love. Even though we might not be able to help all people and all beings in action, due to time and physical restraints, and even if we might not feel the same way towards our own than with others, if we can understand in our hearts and in our minds this idea, then with faith we can make the switch to include everyone in our consciousness of love and understanding, growing closer to God. Always seek understanding of others and of the sacred principles which will guide you as to what is real and what is illusion.
So, returning to the predator/prey relationship, when the prey goes back and observes what has happened during the cruel act of the predator and sees that the predator was acting in ignorance and in actuality was trying to do its best to achieve what we all want to achieve in this world, then the prey automatically forgives. The prey sees deep below the surface. The prey sees what was really happening during that horrible moment. Therefore, forgiving the predator doesn’t become an act of personal sacrifice, but an inevitable act of genuine love toward the predator.
On the other hand, the predator goes through a similar process as it comes out of unconsciousness. When the predator sees the reality of what it was trying to do versus what it was actually doing in ignorance, then the predator automatically forgives itself of its actions and at the same time asks for forgiveness from the prey. At that point the predator is redeemed from its evil deed and comes out of unconsciousness.
As I mentioned previously, predators and people who perform very evil deeds are always in very low levels of unconscious states, whereby leaving them with very little spiritual power. Unconsciousness has very little power over consciousness. A clear example of this is, let’s say your 2-year old daughter was given some type of crazy pills which made her go crazy and became very violent and struck you in the face several times. Will this cause you physical pain? Yes, it will hurt. Will it cause you spiritual pain? To see your daughter in that state of being will certainly cause you much pain, but you will not be hurt spiritually by these blows. You know that your 2 year-old is innocent and therefore has no spiritual power over you. You are not going to get angry at her or condemn her for her acts. Your spirit of unconditional love toward your daughter will never waiver as she strikes you with violence. Quite the opposite, your love and compassion for her will in fact increase during this episode. If you knew these same principles applied to all people who engage in evil deeds, who try to exert violence over others to gain power in some way or form, then you would know that they can never exert any sort of influence over your spiritual state of being. Perhaps they can take your physical life, but they will never be able to remove you from that state of deep love that you have toward your 2 year-old or toward any other person engaging in this type of behavior.
The Protection of God
Following along this same line of thought, we can now understand how remaining within the spirit of the almighty God, that of unconditional love toward all human beings, all beings, and all things is the best way to protect yourself against any potential harm that may come upon you. Always remember that nobody can ever take that spirit away from you. It is your right to always remain within the spirit of the almighty God. This is, in fact, our only inherent right as human beings, but it is the only human right we will ever need in order to accomplish our objectives. Other people can take away your possessions, they can take away many physical things from you, but they can never take away your choice to remain within the spirit, which will always protect you from any harm. This is the everlasting promise of God. Protection from people who perform evil deeds is provided by actually loving them, not the deed, but the person. This will always keep you safe wherever you are, whatever the circumstances you are in, you can always choose to remain within the spirit of the almighty God, who is ruler of everything.
What is real/not real?
God is the only real thing that exists in the universe. God is the presence of unconditional love on earth. So, the only real thing that exists in the world we live in is unconditional love. The energy source of everything that exists in our world comes from unconditional love. There is no person, or being, or thing that doesn’t have this same source. We are all made by God and we are all returning to God. We are all one. As I have pointed out previously, even extreme forms of evil people also have the same source. The source of evil is indeed unconditional love. There is no separation. God is the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end, the start and the finish. There is nothing else. Now, in order to understand this, we also must understand a very important point about good and evil. As I was investigating the many different worlds within the spiritual realm, I discovered this concept that only love exists. So, initially, I erroneously understood that everything both on a conscious level and a subconscious level was made of love. So, I reasoned, that this meant that all hate, all violence, all everything was indeed love in and of itself. And after living in this reality for a few months, I discovered that this is indeed completely wrong, and that this is indeed the foundation of the concept of evil; do as thy wilt so the saying goes. The truth is that underneath all of the conscious manifestations, which can project good or evil, we can see love present as an unconscious source and support for everything, and when we move consciously into this unconscious whole we can actually see the reality, we can see beyond the illusionary surface of evil. But, there are conscious manifestations that can be extremely evil and thereby are not conscious manifestations of love and thereby are simply living in a state of illusion. And it is our destiny and our objective to consciously choose love as our path in life. If you are not doing it consciously and are simply being supported by love on a subconscious level, then you have work to do, which we all have, of course. But, there is a definite path to salvation, and this path is conscious love, which of course can be manifested in infinite ways. But, the path is clear and everyone will have to walk the same path of love in order to arrive at their ultimate objective and salvation, but we will all get there. It is our destiny for all of us to reach the same destination. We are all pulling for each other because, in a spiritual sense, we all depend on the success of everyone else. We are all in this boat together. And, therefore, as any parent knows, the suffering of others is the cause of much of our own suffering as well. We are all one subconscious whole. So, we will all be saved, but at the same time, we will all have to get there through our own choices and through our own unique process of development. Free-will and destiny co-exist. We eventually choose our own destinies, which was the plan laid out by God from the very beginning. We live in a beautiful world, a beautiful reality, and share a beautiful existence together.
Eternal beings
We are all beings that live forever. Not physically, but our conscience lives forever. Your conscience, that thing inside of you that makes decisions, that thing inside of you that is the core of what you are, will indeed live forever. You can’t escape yourself, so be good to yourself, be kind to yourself, don’t be so hard on yourself. You are an amazing person. You are a product of thousands and thousands of years of people that have been giving their lives for love and kindness and mercy, people that have gone through unimaginable trials and tribulations for you to be here today. You are part of a rich heritage, a bloodline of greatness, strength, and unyielding love. We thank our ancestors for their great sacrifices and their great love. Tap into the greatness of historical figures you admire, for they also form part of who you are today. Know that your true identity, the true identity of your soul is only unconditional love, which is eternal in its forms and manifestations. This is the only label that anyone can ever place on you. The soul shares no characteristics with a physical body. You are not a human being. You are not your body. You are not your gender. You are not your race. You are not your culture. You are a perfect individual piece of the entire whole of this universe which is made of the spirit of unconditional love. And since you form part of this perfect body of God, you can directly communicate with the spirit of God, receive guidance, receive help, receive love, and receive understanding. You can communicate with all beings from different dimensions of time and space, people that we loved dearly who have passed away physically or even people who are distant from you geographically are here right now. They will never cease and neither will you. You are never alone in this reality. We walk in unity despite our efforts not to.
Victims of the external world
Now that we have painted a picture of the external world and what it looks like, there is another very important aspect to this perception of love that we seek. Despite having this vision of reality, most of us struggle to emanate love in our lives. How do we love if we don’t feel it inside? How do we see and feel the love that is underlying everything? How can we become this love in order to emanate this to all beings and all things? The answer lies within.
So, back to my personal story and journey. As I mentioned before, the months leading up to the New Covenant for the The New Era experience were quite intense and surreal. I was in a state of consciousness that I had never experienced before. I had actually been in similar states previously, but this experience lasted much longer and was much more intense. During this time period, I was also in a state of external de-stimulation, or in other words, I was limiting or depleting myself from all types of pleasures, whether it be food, sexual desires, and any other type of external stimulus. After this experience passed, and after a few months, I started to spiritually “come down from the plateau” slowly but surely. I got a normal job and slowly started to live a normal life again. And, despite having both an intellectual and an experiential knowledge of the realities of this world, I began to show signs of spiritual struggle again such as anger, frustration, and despair. I began to think that the only way to achieve that heightened state of spiritual being was to go through that same type of discipline which never seemed possible for me living a “normal” life, with the pressures and responsibilities that this implies, which created even more frustration for me on a spiritual level. In addition, I thought that this same journey of discipline would be almost impossible for most people to take, especially since they didn’t have that same life-long drive that I had toward spiritual answers. So, how could the majority of people experience these same type of experiences and come to an understanding for themselves that these things are true? How could other people, or how could I myself, live these principles without having to be a spiritual monk, living in some other reality, not exposed to the daily tasks and responsibilities of life? How could we bring the kingdom of God to Earth if it was so hard for a single individual to arrive at a higher state of consciousness, let alone every human being on earth? It was an impossible task to ask of others and to myself included. It seemed that physical depravation was not sustainable in the long run and therefore didn’t seem to be a viable answer to arrive at a higher state of consciousness. And so, as I struggled personally throughout the next few years, all of a sudden after many months of extreme internal anger, many of the principles that I had studied previously (especially from Eastern spiritual traditions and some of the teachings of Jesus) clicked for me. I began to understand how to live, but without having to traverse the deep ocean of physical depravation in order to receive understanding. And so the pieces of the puzzle of the external world began to converge with the pieces of the internal world. And this is what I’ve learned so far. There is, of course, much more to learn and understanding is never complete.
When our internal state of being is determined by external things or external circumstances, we become dependent upon them, and therefore become obsessed with controlling them in order to attempt to control our internal state of being. Whether it be food, other people’s behavior, other people’s beliefs, the presence of other people, the social status we have achieved, our possessions, our addictions, the amount of wealth we have accumulated, our work performance, the way we look, being accepted by others, our financial future, our sports team’s performance, or other people’s perception of us; whatever our external obsession, its control becomes necessary in order for us to sustain internal peace and harmony, in order for us to feel good internally. And when we can’t control these external items, we become victims of them and use them as excuses for our anger, our hatred, our despair, our sadness, which greatly hinders our ability to see the world the way it truly is, which inevitably hinders our ability to love. The external world will never provide us with a sustainable source for inner peace, which can only come from within yourself. The more we attempt to control some type of external condition in order to grant us inner peace, the less inner peace we achieve. By the same token, the less we need of the external world to achieve inner peace, the more inner peace we have. Thus the saying, if you attempt to gain your life, you will lose it, but if you give your life, you will gain it and the world in the process. This is the great paradox. Jesus Christ refers to this paradox as following first the kingdom of God and all other things will follow. The Buddha refers to this within the idea of non-attachment.
When we are in a constant state of internal anxiety, stress, anger, or despair, allowing external factors to take control of us internally, then we really don’t feel like doing any good to anyone at all and we don’t really know why this is happening to us. Despite our efforts to do good and to love, we simply can’t. We are so concentrated on trying to control all of our external obsessions that the last thing on our mind is doing some type of good to others. Or, we begin to force our good deeds and force the loving environments around us. We enter into control relationships where we either give a lot in order to receive a lot, or we attempt to ask little in order to give little, which are both forms of conditional love, which ends up turning relationships into business partnerships instead of relationships of true commitment of unconditional love.
As God’s justice dictates, what we do to ourselves internally, we end up doing to others. And what others have done to us throughout the years, we end up internalizing and doing to others. As children we are fully exposed to the outside world and its influence. We are like sponges that suck in everything, witness everything and are transformed in our hearts and in our minds with its influence. Children are innocent bystanders of the outside world, they are victims of their external circumstances, not able to discern or to choose. They imitate what they see and relay what they have been given by others to others.
Eventually we mature and grow within this chaotic world. We live in a world of chaos, surrounded by chaos in your body and all around you. Physical chaos of billions of atoms, molecules, and bacteria moving at thousands of miles per hour, moving in all directions within our bodies and out there everywhere. In addition, psychological chaos of thousands of thoughts, desires and emotions that circle through us minute by minute, second by second. It is a truly chaotic world we live in. But, within all of the chaos, deep within the confusion and entropy rises something divine… there is a tiny voice, there is a soul, there is a consciousness, a singular voice of free-will, which, amongst the chatter and noise of the millions of surrounding voices, declares “this is my choice” and nobody else’s. It is what makes you who you are. This is another small proof of the existence of God. If there were no God, we would always be products of our environmental and genetic programming, like robots. But, even though many times we act like robots and never seem to break free from our external programming, we know that this is not the case. Deep down we know the power we possess as individual agents of change, independent of any circumstances that surround us, for we are children of, and share all of the characteristics of the most high, our creator.
When children are conceived, they are suddenly immersed within this physical world, and begin to experiment with the external world and how it affects their internal state of being. This experimentation with the external world happens naturally with development as they begin to become more independent and more responsible for their own decisions. As their physical and psychological sense of choice and empowerment grows, so does their experimentation with the outside world and how it affects the inside world. Children begin to develop a worldview of the external world as a result of the treatment that they have received from people, and also from the dependence or independence of the external world they have achieved in order to develop internal satisfaction. If they have relied their entire childhood on external factors for internal satisfaction, they become more and more obsessive with controlling the outside world in order to feel good internally, because they no longer naturally feel good internally as children do, since their natural innocence and grace starts to run out as consciousness naturally increases. Choice and consciousness brings about responsibility and awareness, and thereby depending on what psychological and spiritual baggage you carry with you and the subsequent decisions you begin to make as a child, you begin to shape your life accordingly. We begin to experience both the joys and the regrets of decision and consciousness. We are naturally forced to make decisions ourselves and to be held accountable for these decisions. We leave the comfortable world of dependence and innocence and venture into the world of independence and accountability. And, as mentioned, the objective is to return to that state of grace of children but in consciousness. We come from the divine unconsciousness, move into consciousness and the objective is to consciously return to the divine unconsciousness. Our objective is to return home in consciousness, fully grown and developed. This same process happens with humanity as a whole.
Our natural path of development as a humanity led us to break free from our household, just as children do as they grow, but eventually as they grow more and more conscious of their decisions, they begin to realize that many of the decisions they are making are not creating the results that they want to achieve. And, thereby, in addition to the consciousness of the realities of our external world, the information that we are missing is that we must realize that we can’t sustainably control the outside world without already having achieved some type of mastery over the inside world. By the same taken, you can’t control the inside world by manipulating it through the control of the outside world. First we must attempt to control the inside, then we can begin to attempt to control the outside.
So, the first step in our transformation is to concentrate on our internal state of being. Renounce being influenced by the outside world and concentrate on your internal state of peace, harmony, and joy. Make the choice to be at peace, to be harmonious, to be joyful. Renounce mirroring the outside world and become the state of being that you have always wanted to feel inside of yourself. Don’t let anyone or anything take away your desired state of being. This is your inherent God given right. This is what the new covenant means by giving your life for your beliefs – commitment to your internal state of being, independent of what is happening in the outside world, is your primary task in this life – commitment to remaining in the spirit of the almighty God, in peace, harmony, joy, and love, first. Everything else is secondary. But, the beauty of this is that everything else indeed falls into place like we have never seen before.
I am not saying to renounce your life and go into a cave or anything of the sort. This knowledge is meant to be accessible to everyone without great sacrifices. Actually, on the surface, you don’t have to do anything different than what you are doing right now in your life. For the most part, your job, your relationships, and your daily tasks remain the same. The revolution is not external, it is internal, within your heart and your consciousness, relegating external control to a secondary priority in your life, making the control of your internal state of being your first priority. The idea is not to renounce the control of the physical world, but to undermine its importance to our more important internal state. If we build a rock solid internal foundation that can’t be swayed, then control of the outside world takes on new meaning. The need to control is no longer there, which paradoxically, makes you a greater agent of change of the outside world. By building this solid, impenetrable, internal state of being, physical desire no longer becomes an obsession nor a necessity, but at the same time, doesn’t become a hindrance either. It comes and goes without affecting our internal state. By the same token, our psychological desires to control how other people think, how other people act, and how other people perceive us, no longer becomes obsessive and necessary, but at the same time its presence doesn’t hinder our ability to remain in the spirit. Of course, when physical and psychological desires begin to take control of our internal state of being, swaying us away from our peace, then we know that this desire is becoming an impediment to where we want to be.
As we begin to commit to these principles, establishing a strong internal foundation of peace, of harmony, of spiritual awareness and presence of being; as we begin to relax internally, reducing stress and anxiety, reducing anger and despair, and increasing the level of joy in our hearts, a brand new world begins to appear right before our very own eyes. We actually begin to experience more control over certain situations than we ever experienced before, and things that we could never do before are actually much easier to do, because we don’t have an inherent need to control these situations and are at peace with what we are doing, independent of the external results of our intervention. When we have internal peace, then service to others becomes natural, thinking of others becomes natural, doing good to others becomes natural, and violence becomes unnecessary and absurd. We no longer have to force benevolent acts, they just start happening. We begin to see the spiritual reality of others, the love that others have inside them, and unconditional love becomes the new, natural way to view the world. It doesn’t require effort because you see it in plain sight, and therefore you can begin to truly experience giving unconditionally, without expecting anything in return, because it is not necessary, you already have what you need. You are loving out of your own free-will, not out of necessity. You are loving from a position of internal abundance and not from a position of lack.
There are many varied techniques that can help you on your journey toward internal peace, harmony and joy, including many schools of meditation, yoga, prayer, hypnosis, and many others, but the important point to highlight is that your internal state of being is your choice. You are the master of your internal world. You have the God-given right to choose whether you want to remain in peace, in harmony, in joy, in love. Use whatever works best for you in your particular situation in life.
One of your greatest allies in your conscious journey toward inner peace and external awareness is the spirit of humility. Sometimes our attempt to “achieve” this internal peace, in and of itself, is keeping us from our peace. Humility will wash away the struggle, will take away the desire, and provide comfort in times of need. Humility is gentle, is soft, is last, has no expectations, and doesn’t need control. The mind reduces its chatter and becomes calm. The surrender to the void, which we now know is God waiting, has always been an important stepping stone that we must embrace in our personal journey. Use it, it is there to help you. Sometimes life requires us to fight with a strong will, but at other times life requires surrender.
Internal work truly becomes an art form and a balancing act. Perfect your inner art form. But, remember to not be so hard on yourself. To indulge in self-sacrifice is also an indulgence that can lead you away from your peace and away from your love. And, actually, sometimes you just have to forget all of this and send it all to hell, which is in effect a form of surrendering, which can bring you back into balance. Don’t worry, it’s ok, we’ve all been there. Do your best. We are not perfect. We will never leave the world of suffering completely, so also learn to accept it and embrace it into your life, while learning to remain within the spirit of the almighty God.
On my personal journey, as everything started to click, I experienced internal peace which was quite different from some of my other spiritual experiences, because now I was in the physical world living a normal life. Yet, it was difficult initially since we are so accustomed to react to external stimuli. Initially, I was like a warrior ready to go to battle, catching myself moving away from my internal state of being due to external factors, time and time again. I kept strong to this commitment to not sway from that internal state. Then I slowly began to realize that instead of always trying to move outside of my internal comfort zone, I actually needed to stay within my spiritual and psychological comfort zone. Staying comfortable within was key for me. And then, eventually realized that the best way to know if we are staying within our internal comfort zone is by the degree of joy you experience in any particular moment. Joy is comfortable for yourself and for others. Unimaginable joy is our natural state of being, which children experience naturally on a constant basis. The means by which we do things becomes the end in and of itself. Therefore, there are no objectives and there are no goals, only ways to get to where you already are, individual choices moment by moment, step by step. When we have joy in our hearts, we naturally experience the spiritual realities of the outside world. We know instinctively that people are good, that people are doing their best, and that people need each other, and we want to share this moment of joy together. And it is in our joy where our love radiates naturally and the outside world begins to mirror our internal reality. Not the other way around. And, when we do this on a daily basis, on an hourly basis, we will have gained our lives back and we will have taken one step closer to gaining our world back. This is the beginning of empowerment. We can begin to build.
Internal Peace and External Work
The outside world is the world that we live in on earth. Within the inside world lies the Kingdom of God. It is humanities purpose and destiny to bring the inside world to the outside world. By remaining within the spirit internally, we will naturally, without force, bring about the magical realities that we have never witnessed and thought possible, both in our own individual lives as well as on a global scale. But, when we begin to renounce our internal state for more control of the outside world, then we begin to fall into our same old ways of the past. Or similarly, if we try to attain a certain internal state in order to achieve an external condition, we get the same result. When you are trying to achieve a peaceful and joyous internal state of being in order to achieve something in the outside world, you are not allowing yourself to relax internally. You are not allowing yourself to just be in peace, to just relax and feel good inside, to feel joy internally. We can’t force things. Things will come, naturally. This is why we need faith. Faith that these things will come naturally.
Faith
We live in a magical world. When you are in the spirit of the Lord, of unconditional love, when you remain there in peace, in harmony, in joy, despite what is happening around you, magic begins to happen. The circumstances and elements around you begin to organize themselves in your favor without forcing them into place. This is when we really begin to see the true beauty of life. If we have faith in the ways of God, then all things are possible. With faith all things are possible, no reality is out of reach, and all things can happen. It is our daily task to remain always in the spirit of the Lord, without deviating, with tremendous faith. When we surrender to the ways of God and to the ways of the spirit, then we will see with our own eyes many miracles. Therefore, we must thank the Lord in advance for giving us this understanding and this gospel to which we are forever indebted. And in giving thanks in advance and in having faith in the ways of the Lord, surrendering our external control to its will, we will witness many things that appear to be magical in our lives. Never give up hope. If you are going through hard times, just believe. Believe. Believe that we live in a world of good. Believe that we are surrounded by love and tenderness and patience and kindness. Even though you might not be able to see the beauty, picture it in your heart and in your mind. Even though the darkness may have taken over your life and your existence, there is still a way out. There is still hope. Take a giant step now. It is time to get crazy and take that leap of faith and don’t care about anything or anyone, and close your eyes and proclaim your belief. Make that promise to yourself and to God. Let’s change the world one soul at a time.
The New Covenant for the New Era
To lay down your life for your beliefs.
We will not fight evil with evil
We will not shed blood for blood
We will always strive to remain in
the spirit of the almighty God,
that of unconditional love
for all human beings,
for all beings,
for all things.
With faith may this be done.
Amen.
Bringing the Kingdom to Earth
As we begin to experience internal peace and begin to comprehend and see with our own eyes the spiritual realities of our world, all of the concepts that kept us divided as human beings start to make no sense at all to us, as we begin to witness the transformation in our society and in all of the prevailing structures of power.
Competition slowly turns into cooperation. We don’t feel the need to compete any longer. We already have what we need. We become much more interested in working together with others to do cool things, applying the concepts of synergy to win-win situations, than to eliminate the competition in win-lose encounters. The baker no longer feels threatened when another baker arrives in the neighborhood, because the baker is enjoying his craft so much that it becomes an art form and welcomes other bakers to share in his experience in baking. As our competitive interactions slowly transform to cooperative ones throughout our business world, eventually we see the stabilization of perfect market prices throughout economies as resources are allocated with perfect alignment as to the needs of the marketplace.
Consumption habits automatically decrease since we no longer feel the need to consume everything out there to feel good inside. We actually begin to see how having too many things and indulgences actually take us away from the peace we seek internally. Free garage sales start propping up everywhere as it becomes more and more difficult to get rid of all of our stuff. We seek pleasure in giving our stuff away to the poor, as poverty becomes an asterisk of history.
Businesses slowly transform from growth machines to service machines, where growth becomes secondary to the quality and art form of the service that is rendered. With internal harmony, the need to grow is not as appealing as the joy that we obtain while engaged in the creative process, consciously moving back into our subconscious creative genius we all carry within, and then sharing it freely with the world. All of the mental and material resources that were expended on strategic growth and its implementation are now directly applied to the creative process. We witness many great inventions that are shared openly as we move into a new era of environmental sustainability.
Survival instinct slowly becomes old fashioned and is replaced by service. We notice that we are surviving just fine and see how others may actually need our help. We eventually see clearly our past, that no matter how much we had, no matter how safe we were, we were always seeking survival, safety, and protection, because we didn’t feel safe, we didn’t feel secure, we didn’t feel protected because we were fighting wars inside and out. Defense budgets and security companies begin to lose funding due to lack of support and interest.
The means justifying the ends philosophy slowly is replaced with the means being the ends in themselves. Why would we need to harm some other being in order to achieve a beneficial result? Our internal spirit leads us to a radical transformation in our ideas about animals and the unnecessary suffering that they incur for our benefit. Animal circuses, zoos, and science experimentation clinics become obsolete. Veganism becomes the new reality as billions of resources saved from our transformation to plant-based diets are redirected to feed the starving around the world. People start to grow their own organic food and barter with each other. Hospitals and doctor’s offices start to lose business due to less demand.
As we regain our internal peace and harmony, we slowly learn to become less obsessive with the need to control other people’s behavior, other people’s thoughts, other people’s beliefs, other people’s ways of being, which eventually brings us closer to people, improves our relationships, and in fact, increases the number of people per household. This new sense of cooperation with others on a household level reverberates throughout all of the organizations on earth resulting in less top-down control and more distribution of power, resulting in massive business and political decentralization. We begin to see smaller and smaller sovereign governments prop up all over the world. Monopolies cease as large corporations can’t seem to grow anymore, losing relevance in the new business and consumer communities, eventually leading to plummeting stock prices and collapse.
Violence no longer becomes a viable means by which objectives are realized, resulting in less and less reliance upon the established human system of justice. We see a decrease in the number of federal and state laws and see a significant lack of interest in maintaining local city regulations in place. Law degrees turn into law certificates. Prisons become museums. Police academies truly become service academies. Standing armies become standing statues of the past, as swords are beaten into plowshares. We will have gained control of our lives and of the world in the process. We will see with our own eyes the Kingdom coming down to earth. We will have achieved victory and as we move into our destiny we will have become realized as individuals and as a species.
May peace be with you always and may we forever remain as one under God.
Your humble servant,
Alex
